Notices of Friends lectures: Speakers for the 2016 Sunday Afternoon Books & Authors Series and Wednesday Film series will be announced soon.

Invitations to A Book Collector's Evening: The Book Collector’s Evening, established in 2011, is a way to bring together book collectors and book lovers in support of the Marriott Library and the book collecting community. This year’s event will be held again at the Alta Club in downtown Salt Lake City in March and will feature a silent auction of rare and out-of-print books, a social hour, dinner and speakers.

Invitations to the Friends Spring Banquet: The Friends Spring Banquet is held every April.

MARCH 10, 2016 at 7:00 p.m., Gould Auditorium. Clyde 20th Century Women's Legacy Archive Lecture, Laurel Thatcher Ulrich, speaker. Free lecture.

MARCH 22, 2016 at 7:00 p.m., Alta Club. Book Collector Evening: Paul Collins, Portland State University on Shakespeare's First Folio. $50/person. Reservations required.
