Rebecca Hartvigsen

Rebecca Hartvigsen was born in Salt Lake City, Utah in 1947. She is a realist painter who specializes in watercolors to create decorative landscapes and figures.

Hartvigsen earned a B.A. in Art from BYU in 1971. She also traveled throughout Europe in order to study the great works of art throughout Europe. Later she became a graduate student at the University of Utah.

Examples of her work have been displayed at several local galleries such as the Bountiful/Davis Art Center. Christmas Eve Visit, and Early Morning Visitor are examples of her original artwork.
