Summer 2026 Library Catalog Update
On Aug 6th, the Library's catalog system will be upgraded to a newer version. While the system will mostly look the same, there will be significant improvements behind the scenes to enhance the user experience and accessibility.
What's Changing?
- Improved organization of search results
- Better support for mobile devices
- Enhanced accessibility and usability
- More consistent navigation and filtering tools
These updates are designed to help you locate books, articles, journals, media, and other library resources more efficiently.
What Isn't Changing?
- Search the Library's collections from the same search box
- Find books, articles, journals, ebooks, and other resources
- Sign in with your University of Utah account
- Request materials and manage your library account
- Access the same collections and services you've always used
