Anthropology, Asian Studies, Economics and Psychology. She helps undergraduate and graduate students and faculty members with their library research needs, offers library instruction session and purchases library resources in those areas. Marie serves on committees in the Marriott Library, the University of Utah and with national organizations. For several years, she served on the Martin Luther King, Jr. Committee on the University of Utah campus to bring events here. Currently, Marie works with the Eclectic Film Series to highlight our audiovisual collection. She also served as project manager for the Catherine and Lennox Tierney collection which is an assemblage of digital photos, film, and interviews with Professor Tierney. Lennox Tierney served as an Arts and Monuments Commissioner during the Occupation of Japan.
After serving a Library Fellowship in Ethiopia, Marie maintains small library projects there and also in India.
Marie has a BA and MA in Anthropology and an MLS degree in Library and Information Science and has several memberships including ALA, ACRL, and ULA.
