Invite a Librarian to Teach!

Academic librarians teach, assess, design as well as integrate critical thinking and information literacy into learning. Through a variety of methods, we can enhance your curriculum, pedagogy, and student learning outcomes.

What we can teach

Librarians can engage your students in a wide range of selections, from introductory-level library orientations to deeply-integrated information literacy instruction. Our teaching can be provided in a variety of formats, including one-shot sessions and online modules in Canvas.

Who can request

Anyone is welcome to contact the library for general assistance or for more information, but Invite a Librarian to Teach! is intended for:

• Faculty
• Instructors of record
• TAs and GAs
• Educators outside of the University of Utah
