Felix Topolski

Welcome to the Topolski Visualization Project

From the K. W. Dumke Fine Arts & Architecture Library at the University of Utah

The Topolski Visualization project is an effort to introduce scholars to the wide-ranging work of acclaimed artist, Feliks Topolski. Specifically, this project is devoted to the artist's self-published opus titled, The Topolski Chronicles , for which he published an issue biweekly for over twenty years. The Chronicle is a visual record of the artist's remarkable life, and offers a unique view of world events during the dates of its publication: 1953-1979. Currently, our project includes only a small percentage of the 3000 drawings that make up the Chronicle . We chose to include drawings that demonstrate the diversity of the work, selecting at least one image from each issue held by the library.

Browse the collection through use of the interactive map or limit your results with the tags on the left-hand side of the screen. If you wish to view the Chronicle in person, it is available upon request at the Marriott Library's Knowledge Commons desk.
