Carleen Snyder Jimenez was born in 1941. The work of this imaginative Salt Lake City artist offers a real shift of awareness to local audiences.

Jimenez is a University of Utah alumna, with her detailed handling of many materials, she connects the entirely recognizable to a wonderful usage of symbolism in the creation of a realm filled with leaps to insight over neo-dada hurdles.

Jimenez has exhibited her art throughout the West and has conducted a talk show on K.R.C.L. radio. She is one of the Artspace Artists.
