David (Allan) Sucec was born in 1937. Sucec is known for his paintings and his "art activism". He lives in Utah.
Sucec attended San Diego State and San Francisco State where he earned his M.F.A.. He was a faculty member at Virginia Commonwealth, and taught courses for Western Illinois University, the University of Minnesota, and Purdue University.
He has exhibited his varied work widely.At one time or another, Sucec has been a member of the Salt Lake Art Center faculty and/or staff, a college professor, a specialist in "color painting," a curator; a preparator of exhibition installations, a multimedia works specialist, and a special investigator-processor of Utah's ancient arts and the Utah environment.
