The Digital Scholarship Services Team collaborates with faculty members and students of the University of Utah to use innovative and creative digital techniques in research and scholarly communication. The DSS Team manages content, infrastructure, and user interfaces for all stages of the research lifecycle, including research planning, execution, dissemination, discovery, preservation, and impact.
Scholarly Communication
- We make your scholarly work accessible and interactive through a variety of digital and media technologies.
- We provide development and dissemination support for both traditional and non-traditional digital scholarship works.
- We deposit publication and other research results into the open-access institutional repository, USpace.
- We publish in open-access journals.
Digital Publication
- We create and support digital publishing that are openly accessible for scholarly use
- We manage digital assets and make them accessible online in user-friendly ways
- We provide conference hosting, manage the U's Online Journals, and innovative techniques in digital publishing
Digital Preservation
- All digital scholarship products we support are cataloged, added to the library's online catalog, and to WorldCat, where they become globally accessible to hundreds of libraries and their many patrons
