Declaration of Independence in the Archives

The Marriott Library has made an exciting discovery: a facsimile of the Declaration of Independence in the Rare Books department of Special Collections. The facsimile was part of Peter Force’s American Archives, a collection of transcribed manuscripts relating to the history of the American colonies.

Librarian wins Research Award

Congratulations to librarian Allison McCormack who was recently awarded the H.W. Wilson Foundation Research Award for her project Beyond Ege: Biblioclasm and the Broken Book Market in 20th Century North America.
