This position works on the Client Platform Services team to design, configure, build, and document server & client systems infrastructure for use by students, staff and faculty. Distributes software, operating system updates and configuration changes to client systems with AppsAnywhere, SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager), Jamf Pro and other systems administration duties as assigned. Successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate a commitment to fostering a diverse educational environment and workplace, and ability to work with a diverse student and faculty population.
Please note: For the Marriott Library to be able to appropriately monitor hours worked, part-time employees are generally asked to restrict their work with the University of Utah to Library employment only, unless an exception is granted. Please contact Jordan Waite for questions about this policy.
Interlibrary Loan/Document Deliver Assistant (Work-Study)
Interlibrary Loan is a service whereby a user of one library can borrow books or receive articles from materials that are owned by another library. Document Delivery is a service that provides Marriott Library patrons PDF files of articles owned by our library. The employee in this position will process incoming Interlibrary Loan article requests from other libraries. The requested articles will be retrieved, scanned and delivered to the requesting library. The employee will also assist in processing article requests for our Document Delivery Service.

If you have a cheerful and professional appearance, enjoy light clerical duties and a business-like atmosphere, please apply! Light administrative work and projects may include stuffing gift bags, distributing posters, updating directories, posting ads on the web, making copies, scanning documents, keeping the conference rooms clean, assisting with catered events, etc. This position will provide a behind-the-scenes look at the business-side of the library and the quieter corners found within it.
We are looking for energetic individuals who enjoy a balance of working together on projects and individually on assigned tasks in the areas of facilities management and maintenance. Different projects provide opportunities to work with many different people on diverse tasks.
