Fine Arts & Architecture Library

The Fine Arts & Architecture Library is located on the second floor of the J. Willard Marriott Library in Suite 2400.

We support all departments within the College of Fine Arts and the College of Architecture + Planning, including Architecture, Art and Art History, Ballet, City and Metropolitan Planning, Modern Dance, Multi-Disciplinary Design, Film & Media Arts, Music, and Theatre.

The Fine Arts space is available for use anytime the Library is open.

Fine Arts & Architecture Collection

The showcase houses unique collections including artists' books, Latin American avant-garde collection, musical scores, and much more! Scanning and copying from most of these items is allowed within copyright.

In the tab titled "Locations and Request" the description "Fine Arts Library Collection" or "Fine Arts Library Folio" indicates  the item is located in the Fine Arts & Architecture Library showcase. You may also search for a keyword or subject heading and then refine your search by selecting "Fine Arts Library Collection" from the facets on the left side of the page.

Accessing the Collection

There are two options for accessing items from the Fine Arts & Architecture Collection:

1. Make an online request through the library catalog. Same-day requests through the catalog will be fulfilled Monday through Friday if made before 4pm.
   • An email will be sent when the item is available for pickup at the Level 1 Information Desk.
   • Additional information about making online requests
2. Make an in-person request at the Level 1 or Level 3 Information Desks.
   • In-person requests can be made at any time, including weekends.
